Single-Use and Mixing Systems
Meissner's One-Touch® single-use systems product portfolio demonstrates their commitment to design, develop and manufacture innovative products. By introducing the industry's first slip agent-free PE biocontainers, TepoFlex®, Meissner reduced its extractables/leachables profile and thus reduced the potential for product interference. The visual expression of this feature is a remarkably clear biocontainer. Meissner also introduced the industry's only multilayer PVDF biocontainer, FluoroFlex®, thus expanding the application of single-use systems beyond the limits of existing PE biocontainers, and into areas such as API storage.

Filtration and Purification
Meissner's UltraCap® H.D. high capacity capsule filters are the industry's only capsules versatile enough to scale up from 10 inches to 50 inches to seamlessly accommodate production needs for flow rate and throughput. The UltraSnap® filter assembly conveniently secures multiple pre and final UltraCap® H.D. capsule filters into a single-use filtration system for plug and play use. This configurable system is optimized for clarification through sterile filtration applications to effectively scale the use of single-use filters in a virtually unlimited way.

SepraPor Hollow Fiber Filters
SepraPor ultrafiltration and microfiltration tangential flow filtration microporous hollow fiber membrane devices. Ideal for use in a variety of biopharmaceutical applications, including bacterial cell concentration, mammalian cell concentration, yeast concentration, and continuous cell culture perfusion. SepraPor® filters are available in a range of sizes in both capsule and cartridge formats. Cartridges are designed to fit inside stainless steel housings for steam-in-place (SIP) sterilization and operation. Capsules are available as standalone filters or as part of process-ready, gamma-sterilized assemblies. Capsule and cartridge filters are both designed to withstand the rigors of autoclave, SIP, or gamma sterilization.

New characterization method provides a more precise and comprehensive performance profile of UF membranes as compared to other characterization methods used in the industry. Improvements in UF characterization translate directly to more predictable purificaton processes with enhanced and more consistent batch-to- batch filtration performance.
